Kent Hansen is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Woodlake Wealth Management as Vice President in 2017.
His financial services background includes working within the Property & Casualty insurance industry before shifting to individual financial consulting. After working with Paine Webber, UBS and Merrill Lynch, he has spent the last 8 years as an independent Financial Consultant affiliated with LPL Financial.
His practice includes providing financial and legacy planning, investment management and insurance “customized” to each particular client situation.
His educational background includes a BA degree from Penn State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

In line with this Mission, Kent believes in open communications and transparency so that clients understand any activities undertaken together, as well as the results produced from these activities.
Kent and his wife Cathy have lived in the Boulder area for over 30 years and now travel back and forth between Boulder and Vermont. He enjoys spending his free time hiking, skiing and playing golf.
